Older, wiser, funnier and far closer to a full breakdown, Cruttenden certainly has an edge to him. Perhaps it’s from existing on the edges of things - the edges of London, the edge of middle age, the edge of middle class and the edge of greater fame.

He has all the likeability of an arena comic but with something of the night about him.

Brilliant comic turn, very funny man indeed. Races through many a social issue and class sparing nothing and no one - including himself. If he's this funny, just listening too. He must super amazingly much more funny in real life, adding the facial expressions to his many voices.

I love this comedian! Hal is so talented.and funny and doesn't feel the need to dwell on smutty humour or excessive swearing like his colleagues. Very similar humour to Michael McIntyre and just as skilled in observational humour. Deserves to be recognised in the same genre of comedy. Really recommend this podcast.

Only known Hal from his appearances on Mock The Week and the like, and never warmed to him.

However, listening to a full show of his I found he really grew on me. (And his Putin material is very timely!)

Well worth giving a try. Guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised too.
