Summary

Escape to the Gulf Coast of Florida with Georgia Carpenter as she gets a second chance at life, love, and happiness.

There’s a wedding on the horizon, and Georgia Carpenter couldn’t be happier. But that doesn’t mean she’s lost sight of everything that still needs to be done to get the Sea Glass Inn ready for opening. Not only is she preparing for that, but the magazine photoshoot is right around the corner, too.

As is the town council election. Most people think Travis Taylor, the inn’s handsome handyman, is a shoo-in, but with Lavinia Major as his opponent, anything could happen. And probably will.

Especially since things haven’t been going Lavinia’s way lately. Not with getting to see her great-grandson, not with getting to see her granddaughter, and not with keeping control of Blackbird Beach.

Georgia refuses to let one woman stand in her way of happiness, however. Reservations are coming in, and the inn’s future looks bright and promising. She’s even agreed to have the inn’s famous Christmas party once again.

Everything is going as smoothly as she could hope for. Which only means Lavinia will find a way to make things bumpy again. Or will this wedding change all of that?

Engaging entertaining romantic family drama

This was a lovely book full of hope and family unity, so pleased that Travis won the election and Sam and Levy got married without any problems, quite a surprise that Lavinia finally came round and wanted to be a better person, and made things up with the people of the town, and her family, narration was very good

Well rounded Christian saga RIngs true

Well thought out Christian saga Good well rounded joy for many with
Some fear of bad influences that have plagued some examples of how joy can be brought into life if need is noted and acted upon

The ending was unexpected

*Spoiler alert*
At the end, lavenia (Sam's grandmother) finally decides to change and ask for forgiveness. This seems a bit out of place as she didn't really show any small changes and was still mean and rotten till the election day. She also didn't really have a big life changing event happen to her like how lilly changed due to her accepting death.
Apart from that, everything was good

Very entertaining, loved the interaction of the family.

Thank you Maggie Miller! This series was very entertaining. I loved how each volume followed the previous one. It contains hope that we can have a second chance even if we are disliked by almost everyone! It just takes a change of heart.

Very Vanilla

This is a good series that could have been great with a little more spice and a nastier villain or even two.

I'm really enjoying this series

This story really does give us hope and faith that love and truth prevail. Good happens, and we don't have to expect the worst to come after a blessing. I love the writing and the details (especially for my detail-oriented brain)!

I just wish the author used better grammar but it seems almost everyone is confused by the use of pronouns such as "I" and "me" these days!

Very Hallmark like

Very feel good book, just like a hallmark movie. Really like all the characters and how they develope throughout the story. Could be three books instead of 7. Seems like they end in the middle of an unfinished paragraph.
