About this listen
Face it - being a young adult in the digital era is one of the hardest things to be. Well, maybe there are harder things in life…but being an adult is difficult! So Grace Helbig has written a guide that’s perfect for anyone who is faced with the daunting task of becoming an adult.
Infused with her trademark saucy, sweet, and funny voice, Grace’s Guide is a tongue-in-cheek handbook for millennials, encompassing everything a young or new (or regular or old) adult needs to know, from surviving a breakup to recovering from a hangover. Read by the author in her inimitable style, Grace’s Guide features interactive elements and exclusive stories from Grace’s own misadventures - like losing her virginity solely because her date took her to a Macaroni Grill - and many other hilarious lessons she learned the hard way.
Amusing and unexpectedly educational, this refreshing and colorful guide proves that becoming an adult doesn’t necessarily mean you have to grow up.

Great if you're into this sort of thing
Great audiobook if you're a fan of Grace or this style of "Self-Help" book. Definitely recommend. I love Grace's humour and wit so this was a thoroughly enjoyable listen for me

Really easy, enjoyable listen.
Would you consider the audio edition of Grace's Guide to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version but I really liked that she was the narrator so it's the same voice I'd be hearing had I actually read it.
What did you like best about this story?
I really liked how relatable and funny it was. I liked how I was essentially just being nosey and learning about her and the world.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
My favourite 'part' of the book was when she was describing her first 'college' experience I think, I can't remember where in the book this is but it was most relatable I suppose since I was on my way home from university.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! I tend to read books in one sitting anyway but with audiobooks I find it easier to stop, this was something I wanted to carry on listening to even whilst the ticket man on the train was trying to talk to me.

Brilliant
Excellently identifiable, witty and kind. But I have a number in my Twitter handle so don't take me seriously! Beaut.

Amusing and yet incredibly useful
I love watching Grace's videos online and I think supporting new media is paramount but after having a bit of a difficult couple of months with issues described in the book I've definitely found some of the advice here useful and I'll be referring to them when my anxiety hits a high point again.

Waste of money for over 18s
Great book if you're between 16-18 years old...otherwise a complete waste of time. This book teaches you all that you already know

Grace is great, just not amazing...
I love Grace Helbig, and I'm a fan of her Youtube channel, but this offering felt sadly generic and forced. It was funny at points though, and definately awkward, which is Helbig's brand.
