About this listen
When a reclusive psychic shows up looking for Jude Byrne in his adopted hometown of Salem, Massachusetts, the private investigator’s walls go up instantly. Psychic or not, this mysterious man knows secrets about Jude’s past that are better left buried in the New Mexico desert. Stranger still is the personality change that comes over the flirty PI after he meets the newcomer.
Psychic Copeland Forbes is a man on the edge. The once popular and well-respected medium has lived in seclusion since an attack by a former student has shaken his confidence in his abilities. Sickened by an ailment no doctor can diagnose, he travels from his home in Louisiana to seek out the one man he believes he can help him, if the rumors are true.
Faced with an enemy possessing powers greater than either man has ever faced alone, will Jude and Copeland decide to work together to defeat this dark magick? Or will both men continue on as they are now, ghosts of themselves?

Fantastic and funny
I absolutely loved this audiobook! I enjoy all the characters in the Cold Case Psychic and related series. Besides having an intriguing mystery and endearing characters, the repartee between the various characters, especially Jude and Ronan, is hilariously entertaining. I loved Jude and Copeland and the immediate connection between them from the start. I would have enjoyed this audiobooks for the interactions alone, even without a good story, magic, and mystery.
The narration by Michael Pauley is great, although there were some occasions when I could not understand a word here or there. It could have been due to trying to effect the Cajun accent. Good pace and delivery overall.
I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook and have voluntarily left this honest review.

Jude and Cope get their story!
So it’s not necessary to have read or listened to the Cold Case Psychics series to enjoy this one - but it will add something if you have!
It’s a slow burn - which I love because it just gives the lead in for a whole slew of books with Cope and Jude (and the more the merrier!).
Michael Pauley’s narration is on point as always!

OMG wow
Basically Pandora and Michael are a perfect duo. Pandora creates these wonderful intricate, suspenseful stories with characters that grab your heart and then Michael brings them to live on a whole other level.
I was a little nervous about breaking into a new series of Pandora's that I would miss the characters I fell in love with but she gave me a whole set of new ones and it was amazing! It was like getting extended family. Jude captured my heart right away and I adore Him I can't wait for more of him in my life and Copeland was such a great counter balance. I'm desperate for the rest on audio!

It’s Jude’s Turn
This is the first book in The Haunted Souls Series. A spellbinding book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters intriguing. The characters were developed and thought out. Copeland Forbes and Jude Byrne are the MC’s of this book. I enjoyed finally learning more about Jude. The narration was good there were different voices for the characters, and it wasn’t monotone. I can recommend this as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Amazing new series
I didn't read this story before listening to it, so I was happily surprised and captivated by the story of Jude and Coppeland.
This was an amazing and thrilling story that I couldn't stop listening to.
The story line was amazing and different, but still very connected to Tennyson and Ronan's universe.
The narration helped give even more depth to Jude and Coppeland, I loved what is starting between them and I can't wait for more

I love the world and characters Pandora's created!
🌟🌟🌟🌟 4.5 stars
🔥🔥 Heat Level: 2 (Story is insta-love/super slow burn, emotional connection established first)

I love the world and characters Pandora's created!!
The world Pandora has created is extensive, challenging, often dangerous and wonderful. Everything you could imagine seems to be possible here and I love that she's expanding on the supernatural elements with witches, witchcraft and Native American culture and healings.
I loved Jude in the other books and was so excited for his story. I love Pandora's writing and the Cold Case Series is one of my all time favorites. To be honest and say I wanted a bit more from Jude and Cope's story, but I understand and am intrigued by the way Pandora chose to go with these two.
From my reading, I felt there was a bit of an insta-love connection for Cope towards Jude but Jude has his walls up. Jude can still feel the connection but is more wary of it. This insta-love was good but conflicting at times with a lot of simmering heat that doesn't really progress much of the time. Jude and Cope are drawn to each other quickly and Jude becomes wonderfully protective towards Cope which is great to 'see' and provides for much of Pandora's wonderful humor!! As these two, face the various challenges coming at them more of Jude's past is revealed and his walls finally start to come down. When Bertha is reincarnated there was not a dry eye in the book (or out of it) I was balling! This was such a wonderful part of the book, it truly touched my heart and will stay with me forever.
I love that Pandora included all the characters from the whole Cold Case Psychic world in this story and I loved 'seeing' the continued bromance/brotherhood evolve between Jude and Roman.
This story is very much a start to Jude and Copeland's journey and sort of ends with them together but not. Pandora has done a wonderful set up for many more Jude and Cope stories and I look forward to seeing where they go and what is next for them.
Thanks for reading!

Another great series to follow!
This is a standalone spin-off from the excellent Cold Case Psychic (CCP) series. However, for the best enjoyment, they probably should be read/listened to.
Jude appeared in one of the later CCP books, so it's nice to see he has his own storyline. Cope has come up from New Orleans, really ill and seeking help. Jude and Cope's relationship is a bit of a slow burn, but interesting to watch develop.
One thing that I found a bit tiresome is that almost everyone from the CCP appears in this story, while not bad, I wanted the story to be a bit of a hand-off from the 'parent story.
Michael Pauley does a really good job as usual. There were a few times I wasn't sure which of the secondary characters had the mic, but then, there were quite a few people to characterise :)

LOVED IT
Ooh, a Cold Case Psychic spin off series, what's not to like. Getting to know Jude better and learning his secrets, meeting Cope and still spending time with all our favourite people, how intriguing. And finally getting to meet someone 'face to face' is an extra special surprise. This book is bloomin' marvellous and I loved every single minute of it. Things that go bump in the night, found family, sexy times and true love and the gloriously sexy voice of Michael Pauley - I'm in.
