Summary
When an injured stranger staggers down a Hawaiian mountainside and into her backyard, Monica believes God has directed this mysterious young lady to her. I liked it
I enjoyed this mystery. It is hard to find a clean mystery, and this on'es bonus is Christian themed.

I want to give this more stars...
Alas, as wonderfully insightful as it was, as much as I loved the faith component, the themes of forgiveness and so on, even though I did like the fact that the characters grew and didn’t do stupid CW relationship things to drive the plot - I still can’t.
Between the performance (it was painfully slow - but the narrator did a credible job with voices) and the dragging plot (it took the first half to start to moving) the book just plodded along. And I found the characters interesting, and the story interesting. So, weird. But there it is.
Would I read another book by the author? Only accidentally. This is the second one I’ve tried with pretty much the same experience. No more credits from me.

Could have been good story
Began well. Then came weak sophomoric theology, first dribbled then sprayed, then poured into an otherwise clever story. And at the end a great deal of heavy melodrama. Needed an editor.

Loved this book!
I loved this book so much that I listened to to it twice, back to back. Great story, intrigue, romance and spiritually uplifting.
