Summary
Kayla:
I don't know how much time has passed. I don't even know what is real and what isn't.
There are times where for a matter of minutes, I'm in a dark place. The room is dirty, warm, and I'm alone. My hands and legs are bruised and I feel weak.
I want to fight. I want to find my dagger and go after whoever is doing this to me, but I can't. I feel the wards around me, but those wards are different than the ones that protected the Academy. These are dark and keep me from using my nephilim abilities.
For the rest of the time, I'm always with Hunter, and we are at the Academy, but there is never anyone else around us.
It's just him and me, and everything should feel perfect, but I don't trust any of it. It's all too perfect and life never is.

Great ending
This series has been fantastic. The storyline just kept on giving. The characters have been written with compassion and strength. The level of action is great. A brilliant performance from Sarah

Gentle teen love story
All four short books makes this one story. Best brought as a set.
The story is good but is let down by the narrator. Clearly spoken but with no gift for other voices she made it confusing as the story is told by many characters.

Fast forward
This book fast forwards pretty quickly into the future! It is kind of hard to keep up because it isn’t what you expect! There is plenty of action and some good closure that I personally appreciate! Although there was 0 production issues... there was long pauses in between the chapters, I’d check to see if an AirPod fell out and that’s why it wasn’t playing.... the narrator never got a full voice separation but did slightly better in tone .

Academy of the Fallen
Entertaining storyline & series. Decent narration although sometimes confusing. The character voices were not always distinct but overall I enjoyed following Kayla, Hunter & the others🙂

Good end to the series
This was a very good ending to the series. Kayla and Hunter had grown so much as this series continued. This was a good ending though a few things were kind of strange but I enjoyed Kayla and Hunter. All of the questions and things were answered which I enjoyed.

Great way to end a series
This is probably my favorite book in the series, so much is put into it, all my questions answered and more.

Great conclusion
Spellbinding twists and turns!! Just when you think things may settle down...plot twist!!
So much goes down in this book and again in this book you can see how much character development there is from the first book. I thought the author did a fabulous job bringing the stories and fighting scenes to life.
This series had the same narrator throughout the entire series. At times that’s perfect but for this instance a change in narrator would have been a great. The narrator used the entire voice through the books and it became a bit boring. I did listen to the book at a faster pace.
