Summary
A second chance, age gap winter romance that will have you cheering them on, crying for them...while a whole lot of love settles in your heart.
Paisley Healy was never supposed to fall in love with her boss. Her superior. The woman she looked up to. Working at the best law firm in the city was supposed to be cut and dry. The night she confessed her love to the woman she was falling for should have been magical, so why was she alone three years on, unanswered questions continuously plaguing her mind?
Georgina Weaver’s dream had always centered around her business. Love wasn’t everything to her - she wasn’t sure it could compete with the demands of her job - but her assistant had quickly blown that out of the water. With the words "I love you" spoken with such beauty and honesty, Georgina was prepared to give her entire universe to Paisley.
One night would change everything. One moment would crush their dream.
When Georgina walks back through the doors of Weaver and Associates - interrupting the annual Christmas party and Paisley’s life - both of them must make choices. While Georgina learns of some powerful news, Paisley believes their past is better left buried.

wonderful
Another lovely story from this author, I did love this story in spite of jumping around a bit recalling the memories of georgina or paisley the story was of love found and lost and recaptured heart warming and wrenching, I laughed and cried with the girls as the truth was uncovered, and they became what they were meant to be Together ❤ forever.....

Slow down my beating heart!
This was such a beautiful story that I wish would continue on. I love a good age gap but this one doesn't involve the melting of an ice queen. This story was simply beautiful through and through. It proved that true love will endure even in the worst circumstances. This is definitely a must-read and I'm kicking myself for not having read this sooner. Don't make the same mistake I did. Grab your copy, a box of tissues and enjoy.

Now this is how you write a 2nd chance romance!
Instead of a story about the redemption of a selfish character(s), this story is about how to repair a love that was abruptly torn away. The plot is kind of out there and not very realistic in the eyes of most people but I loved it! Every problem was answered tactfully and left me with nothing but remorse for the characters and what they had to go through. I found Paisely to be a bit contradictory in the beginning but it adds to her inner turmoil later in the book. Loved Georgina throughout the whole book and found her to be incredibly endearing and cute. The narrator did a wonderful job and even threw in a few sighs and chuckles etc. I really appreciated that because it adds a lot of depth to the characters and story telling. If I had to nitpick anything about this book, it would be setting description. I didn't get a good feel about what Liverpool is like in the winter (from the US). Overall, this book was a breath of fresh air for the 2nd chance romance trope; it was light and filled with just the right amount of drama to tug at your heartstrings, I whole heartedly recommend!

Forever Long...
The story started out strong but then quickly went into “how much longer left until the end” I’m not giving away any spoilers or whatever but don’t waste a credit on this one. There were at times I was rolling my eyes and had to speed up the dialogue just so I can get thru this book. If you’re into the same cliché typical lesbian story line this one is for you.

Just so good..
Currently obsessed with all of Melissa Tereze books and same thing can be said for Emma Griffiths voice. Her delivery/ performance of Tereze books is a pure delight. Ge and Paisley’s love in this book, jumped off the pages. Dare I compare Ge to Vanessa Middleton?! Ge is up there! I would recommend taking a listening to this audio! Amazing story with an amazing performance to top it. Hope all the rest of Tereze books are coming down from the audio heaven.
