About this listen

Someone is making a real killing on the housing market.... Best-selling mystery author Nora Bannister has found herself a very lucrative sideline: house-flipping. Along with a group of female friends, she buys a run-down house in Los Angeles, and while her business partners turn it into a show home, Nora makes it the scene of a grisly murder in her latest best seller.

It seems people are only too happy to live in a house where someone has died a violent death - in fiction at least. But, much to the horror of Nora and her pals, a series of real murders starts to take place.

Any additional comments?

I had listened to a lomax and briggs before and really enjoyed the humour in it. it was mainly the banter between the two cops that made it so enjoyable so I was looking forward to this story.
I was so disappointed, there was very little humour in it, at least I think it was supposed to be funny. it was just an ordinary crime story.
john chancer did a good job of performing the book.

lomax and biggs.
