Summary
Tally Dewilde forges her own path when she chooses to go into veterinary medicine and ignores her mother’s desire that she establish a boutique clinic for the pets of the wealthy in Manhattan. When she arrives in rural Upstate New York to join Sydney Valentine’s animal hospital, the break with her old life seems complete on every level. Brilliant
Oh it’s another great story from Radclyffe
I love the Rivers gang so it was great to catch up with them all again.
I hope there’s more to come.

Best in series
It’s been a while since I listened to the early books so I might be exaggerating but I really enjoyed this book as there was so much going on. The characters were good and the back story worked nicely and who can’t love 6 puppies as the link point?

can't get the 80s song out of my head, Kayleigh (mc taylee obviously) is it to late to say I'm sorry, by the way didn't I break your heart.
story flashes back ten yrs and an accusation that causes rome to leave behind her privileged life and join the army medical core. a chance meeting after rome rescues 6 abandoned puppies, sets in motion turmoil regret guilt and love.
really good story and so good to catch up with "old friends" from rivers series, just hope there's more.
