Very dull with occasional mistakes

You will hear unusful words with translations which occasionally do not match. There plenty of better books around.

Quite a few errors

Overall it was a good book for car journeys but my trust of how accurate the translations were, was put in doubt quite early on. Some very obvious mistakes that clearly hadn’t been checked made me doubt translations later on that I didn’t know. Overall it was good though and made driving a bit more fun whilst learning along the way but I would probably try a different publisher in the future.

Terrible

Main objection is that many words are translated incorrectly (eg chien in animals). Also a big proportion of the recording is numbers and irrelevant animals (eg hummingbird). Very annoying is the long long legal disclaimer you have to sit through at the start.

Great book for learning French

This is a great book for learning French verbs. I honestly thought 1000 verbs was too many but the layout and the way they are expalined make it very easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone trying to improve their French.

Highly recommend

This book is great! I decided to buy it to try and learn French. I do not know any French, so I really wanted to learn. The thing I liked most about it was that it was so easy to learn the words. I highly recommend this book to others who want to learn the French language.

Awful awful awful

There are so many odd mistakes on this audiobook such as saying “grand-père” is “father”, “Samedi” is “Sunday”. Also it’s just a woman reciting words without providing any techinques to make them memorable. I am so mad I wasted my credit on this pathetic audiobook. Paul Noble ones are the best!

OMG, terrible.

IF YOU'RE REFRESHING YOUR FRENCH,, don't bother with this book. The beginning is annoying, she speaks too much English and repeats herself for almost 10 minutes. ANNNNND, she's wrong on some translations. And doesn't go over pronunciation. I can tell she's probably never been to a french speaking country. Wish it was a real french speaker. Don't waste your money. Just get a book with REAL FRENCH SPEAKERS.

Way too many errors

Wouldn't it be a wonderful idea to review any content before publicly sharing it, let alone - selling?
Some person with no preliminary knowledge might really believe that all these animal names are really accurate, and then call a jellyfish penguin, etc,
Also, the staggering number of repetitions for geographical locations is seriously overrated, Esp for countries like Kazakhstan, Kyrgizstan, etc.
This product is really raw and untested, I would certainly have requested a refund if I could.
Thanks,

Well explained

I honestly loved the fact that all words provided in this book gave some sort of useful context for the usage of the word. Beyond that, every word given was useful for filling in the gaps of knowledge from either a formal or informal education in the French Language. Truly well explained.
