Summary

'Uplifting, poignant, and very funny' LUCY DIAMOND

'One of the loveliest books I've read in a long time' MILLY JOHNSON

Sometimes it takes life falling apart...
... to piece yourself back together!

Single mum Jenny's life is turned upside-down (quite literally) when her beloved cottage on the Norfolk coast falls off a cliff. And so, with the storm raging on, Jenny and her eighteen-year-old son Charlie are forced to take refuge in her neighbour, Luke's, cosy campervan.

It's a tight squeeze for the three of them - and Luke's adorable dachshund, Betty - but somehow they make it work. And when far-too-handsome Luke suggests a spontaneous road trip around England, it ignites a desire for adventure in Jenny she thought long extinguished!

And soon she begins to wonder whether losing everything might just have been the best thing that ever happened to her...

'Funny, romantic and utterly charming book' FREYA SAMPSON

'Filled with adventure, laughter, romance and poignancy. The perfect escapist love story' CATHERINE ISAAC

'A reading road trip full of heart, hope and humour' LAURA KEMP

'A complete joy full of warmth, heart and hope' ALEX BROWN

'Absolutely fantastic' TRACY REES

'Beautiful writing, beautiful book, my heart is full' JENNY BAYLISS

Cute romance

A quite nice romance story.
Where you did feel for the characters.
Narration was ok , perfectly listenable but didn’t bring any extra to the book.

Dreadful narration

An okay story and such a shame because I love Debbie Johnson. But the narration was unbearable, I only made it to chapter 7, hoping it would improve but the narration was so dull and lifeless that I couldn’t go any further. One of the very few books I’ve abandoned in 11 years of listening to audible!
