Necessary Reconnection

I absolutely loved this book! I had read it early in my Christian walk and it provided a firm foundation as I grew. Recently, I felt the need to read it again, and was thrilled to find it in audio format on Audible. I decided to share what I was hearing with a group of 20 friends and family via email, and we have been transformed! Since finishing the book, we are now embarking on a chapter-by-chapter study of the entire bible!

starts slow, but ends with a bang!

Would you listen to Experiencing God again? Why?

Yes. I have enjoyed the author's work for years. He has a wonderful insight into the will of God. I was disappointed in the introduction, long and sounded like a resume, but the meat of the book was awesome.

What other book might you compare Experiencing God to and why?

Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life. Like this one, it strives to give a person insight into their personal walk.

Must read for every Christian

If you are desiring deepens your relationship with God and get to know him and his will, this is the perfect book to read. These authors take you through theirs experience with God how to hear from Him and how to recognize when He is at work around you. There so much you can learn in your walk with God through experiencing God book.

Best Book I have ever read!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

a Book that will make you think the next time you are going to Pray about something. It will make you take the blinders off and look around. it wii make you think more about others and stop thinking about yourself.

Throw out the bath water and keep the baby.

Brilliant book, very inspiring and challenging. However a few little issues to be aware of, the author believes that sickness is from God and although much grace is tought there is some works mixed in. If you filter out the negatives your left with an inspiring, motivating and challenging book. Dont throw the baby out with the bath water.

A MUST READ/LISTEN!

What did you love best about Experiencing God?

This book opened up so many thoughts and made me aware of all the places were God was at work that I missed because of being too busy. I started to take the time to look at things with NEW EYES and a NEW MIND-SET!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

They all were great!

What about Wayne Shepherd’s performance did you like?

He made thiings come to life!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The thought questions were so on point they made you really ask youself the tough questions about were you are in Christ and what you intend to do about were you are..

Solid Biblical Teaching w/ the Power to Transform

Where does Experiencing God rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is my first audio book to listen to so far. I onestly don't care for the way the narrator reads the material (just personal preference), but the book is so goo that I soon forgot about him altogether.

Who was your favorite character and why?

N/A This book is nonfiction, so I guess I'd have to go with the author. Which in this case is a viable answer. He speaks straight from the Bible to the people that have questions for him in the various examples that he gives throughout his book.

N/A

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. It is way to deep and full of things that need to be mulled over to be fully absorbed.

A must read

If you need understanding of your relationship with God and what He desire for and from your life, this is an excellent choice. This is another great explanation of the love relationship that God wants with His children. Great
