Editor reviews
There is something familiar and likeable about narrator Michael Coon's voice, and he uses that quality to brighten the serious topic of estate planning. Edmund Fleming provides all the necessary information to make decisions on estate planning as he covers wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and more. The details in this handy audiobook will eliminate much of the confusion that can occur over this important and essential task.
Coon takes care to narrate Fleming's straightforward, practical tips and checklists in an equally precise tone, highlighting the importance of planning ahead while individuals are still young and healthy.

May be tough for the non-expert
For a person wanting a solid grounding in the basics and the basic documents, I would suggest trying the NOLO book here at audible, which is clear and understandable. This one is a bit more advanced, and touches on a lot of topics that people with smaller estates or simpler situations will not find necessary to learn. I like this, but I'm an incessant legal self-educator. Again, as these books remind us, none of these books should be mistaken for an actual consultation with an attorney about one's particular situation. But the NOLO book will do the most (of any audios I've seen yet) to make a typical person a smarter consumer.

Well-Organized, but Dry and Out-Dated.
Material is well organized and seems thorough. Narrator is professional, but the material is dry and there's not much he can do with it. Occasional mispronunciations are forgivable, given the nature of the subject matter.
Although recorded in 2012, the text dates back to 2004 and the estate laws have changed enough to render some of this information moot. Also, the text tends to quote Illinois laws specifically, without reference to any other states.

Tough listen for a beginner, but solid book.
It was a tough listen for me since I'm a beginner, this is actually my first book on this specific subject. With that said I motored through it often catching myself day dreaming about what I had just heard, and how it related to my current situation & goals. It got my wheels turing and I appreciate that. A lot of the book just didn't apply to me, yet..

A Little Over My Head.
A lot I did not understand about this information. This was a little to deep for me to take in at this time. Thanks any way.
