Summary

The message of the gospel that Paul brought to the culturally diverse city of Ephesus forever transformed its citizen's lives. But the church in Ephesus had the same problems we face today: it was a multiethnic group of believers who found it difficult to come together as one and put aside their differences...

In this audio Bible study, pastor Derwin Gray, of Transformation Church, takes you and your group through Paul's letter to the Ephesians to reveal how the apostle presented the revolutionary idea that Jesus came not only to forgive sins but also to create a unified family out of a diverse people.

The letter to the church in Ephesus contains a message that's revolutionary to us even today—it's a message that's especially urgent now: that God desires to bring unity to all things and all peoples under Christ. This is the vision that bears the seeds of a heavenly revolution!

Sessions include:

  1. A Revolutionary Idea / Ephesians 1:1–23 (22:30)
  2. A New Race of Grace / Ephesians 2:1–13 (20:30)
  3. A Family of Peace / Ephesians 2:14–22 (20:00)
  4. Servants of the Gospel / Ephesians 3:1–21 (20:00)
  5. Life in God’s Family / Ephesians 4:1–5:5 (20:00)

Coordinating study guide available separately.

The Audio Bible Studies series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, this audio Bible study includes high-quality, live audio sessions from the author that cover important Bible-based topics. These sessions will reflect the ambiance of the unique recording locations, immersing the listener into the teaching. While not required for the audio experience, these studies are designed to partner with the coordinating study guide, sold separately.

Informative and Encouraging

I was really impressed by this! Pastor Gray is really enthusiastic about this subject and his enthusiasm pours out throughout his narratives. I learned a lot and, as I continue to study Ephesians I know that I will return to this and make annotations in my study book.

This is not a line upon line study, it’s an empathic discourse which makes the content more inspiring and engaging.

Pastor Gray, much like the apostle Paul, is as enthusiastic about his topic and the theme about unity in the church. One thing I have noticed is that he and his wife are very practically engaged in Paul’s exhortations of unity in Ephesians, given the multi-ethnic makeup of the church in Ephesus, as I understand that he has founded a multi-ethnic church also: Black, White, Asian, Native American of all walks of life and backgrounds.

This man practices what he preaches!
