Summary

At first opposites attract. Then opposites attack. Lucas Henry, a billionaire bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks, made his way up from street living to penthouse owner. A serious lapse in judgment leads him into a huge scandal, so he must do everything he can to repair his reputation with the media and the public. Everything starts going sideways when he wins a date with the fiery small-town veterinarian Emilia Willow.

Emilia, after dealing with her own sordid past and disastrous relationships, is cautious and careful. She can smell trouble and its name is Lucas. Lucas' green-energy project was supposed to buy him a ticket right back into the spotlight, not distract him and derail his efforts. Now he has to figure out if Emilia is worth fighting for, even against a meaner-than-hell sheriff, or if he should run back to the rich life.

Entrance

I enjoyed listening to Jack Rhyder. A wonderful job of narration.

This story is about Lucas and Emilia. With a bad reputation and wanting to improve it he buys a ranch in a small town. There is a fundraising auction and he bids on a date with Emilia, the local veterinarian.
Steamy, a wonderful story!! But it has a cliff hanger
