I can’t say a single complaint about this book. It has information, definitions, and strategies on improvement. I have found that most books don’t contain all of those things, so I was thoroughly satisfied receiving what I did from this book.

Perfect!

Interesting thoughts and ideas, but poor execution. Lists cannot work the same way because it’s audible, not written. Just confusing.

I find it pretty confusing.

I know this book is not meant to be riveting, but in informational books I always find myself tired with the strenuous thought involved and this is no exception. There are a lot of ideas, concepts and lists. Be sure to prepare for that before diving headfirst into this novel.

There's a lot of preparations to do beforehand.

I appreciate the examples this book uses more than anything to help with understanding. In scientific readings, they are always helpful. And the idea for the book was good, too.

With relevant ideas.

The idea that emotional intelligence is entirely separate from IQ had me interested from the start. The book does an excellent job organizationally, but it is hard to follow sometimes because it is not a visual paper in front of you.

I prefer the ebook version.

I think that my personal favorite thing in the book is the fact that age doesn’t seem to be a factor. The book mentions both children and adults in relation to EQ and IQ. The person narrating could use some work, but that doesn’t take away from the story itself

The real deal on emotional intelligence.

Using examples of personality traits helped me understand the differences between EQ and IQ. I may be overcomplimentary, but this book is worth much more than what I paid. I feel like it will help me grow as a person one I get a more effective grasp on all the information.

Everyone should look into this book.

As it turns out, while I have a lower IQ, my EQ is impressive. I bought this book with every intention of improving an IQ, but I finished it with a higher self-confidence than before and knowledge about how to maintain my EQ and work at that. I feel like that is more important anyways!

Compelling yet easy-to-understand work.

I liked the book for the most part, but there were multiple parts where I was confused. Usually, when I went back in the book I could figure out what was being discussed, but it was a hassle to do that. After taking the time to understand it was much better!

It's good. There were just some confusing parts.

I wish it didn’t sound like it is straight from a textbook. I learned about this in my college communication class and the prof was better at explaining.

It did not meet my expectations.
