Summary
The darkest secrets can be hiding in families....
When Heidi hears the news that a prisoner has escaped, she instinctively knows who it is, even before the name is revealed. Twelve years have elapsed since her own escape, time enough for her family to move, recover, and start to live again.
As a manhunt ensues for the escapee, it seems history is repeating itself, as a series of killings work their way up the East Coast towards Heidi’s new home-town. As she watches and waits, and the killings close in, she knows he’s coming back. For her.

Fantastic
Absolutely fantastic read full of lots of twists and turns, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story and found the narrator very easy to listen to. Once again another fantastic story from Maria!!

I enjoyed this book so much. The only thing I was sad about is that I had to come to the end.
I would recommend this book to anybody who has read any of Maria’s previous books or other authors. It was incredible lots of twists and turns, I could never have worked out how this book should have ended. Maria’s story lines are amazing! The reason I gave this book such a high school is that I haven’t enjoyed reading a book so much for a long time.
Well done Maria keep up the good work.
