Hace muchos años en la ciudad de Hamelin había un problema enorme por una invasión de ratas que habían venido del campo y los vecinos de la ciudad no sabían cómo deshacerse de ellas.Un día apareció un desconocido que dijo al alcalde que a cambio de una recompensa haría desaparecer a las ratas del pueblo.Le dijeron que si, con lo que se puso manos a la obra inmediatamente y empezó a tocar una flauta e inexplicablemente todas las ratas empezaron a salir de sus agujeros y sin pensárselo mucho comenzaron seguirle a medida que iba tocando la flauta, como si la música las tuviera hipnotizadas.
