Summary
En un bosque al sudeste de Edimburgo han encontrado el cadáver de un detective privado desaparecido desde hace más de una década. John Rebus conoce bien el caso, porque originalmente formó parte del equipo encargado de la investigación, que estuvo plagada de errores e intereses ocultos.
