I love these books. Easy time I listen to a new one it's like visiting old friends. The plot lines are always convoluted and interesting and they are always softened by humorous banter and set in a wonderful area.

As soon as Audible notified me that books 14 & 15 had both been released, I rushed to finish my current audiobook, so that I could listen to both of these back to back.
This series continues to be absolutely excellent!! Both the writing and the fantastic narration.
The sarcastic banter between the main characters is so well written it always makes me laugh out loud, and I love those funny interludes in amongst the cracking plots, which are always full of plenty of twists and turns.
Long may this amazing series continue!!

Perhaps the best of the ‘Evan - Brecon series’. ( But then I’ve said that after each edition.) This 82yr old retired copper who is fond of the odd biscuit thoroughly recommends.
