Disappointing

First book has a story line that had legs and could have been good.. the other two books where pointless and poor.

Book 3 , the worst accent narration ever

Book 1 and 2 are passable. Book 3 was terrible, the accents by the narrator were cringe worthy. It was a struggle to finish it … :/

Too much sex

good story line. Didn't realize I was buying erotica. Not my thing. I would like a little more G rated version! lol!

The lvl of cringe is overwhelming

This was so cringe I couldn't even finish it. I'm all for a girlboss but this felt so forced and fake it had my eyes almost permanently rolled to the back of my head. The rampant narcissism and creepy possessiveness from the women made reading this painful. Possessiveness is not appealing in a guy or girl, and telling someone they have no choice but to be with you forever is appalling. In the first book the ML specifically stated that if a guy acted like the FL did he'd get jail time- her response- "sucks to have d***"
I kept waiting for some charecter development, but seems like the personality was what the author was going for. Just like arrogant caveman guys and fainting flower girls are nauseating; emasculated guys, and imperious conceited girls are not really my thing.
I'm not sure if this was meant to be cringy role reversal but I wish I would have been warned before wasting my money.

The narrator didn't help much. Everyone sounded the same and she escpecially did an abysmal job with the guys voices.

Dragons

I listened to all 7 books and they were great! I loved how they flowed together and weren't completely predictable.

Decent Deal

3 books for 1 credit was quite the deal. However I would not have continued the second and third book if there where not all packaged together for 1 credit. The character dynamics are somewhat interesting the performance does the writing justice but that is saying a whole log.

Finally, a sassy powerful heroine character that is well-written and makes sense

Minor spoiler: the sassy powerful heroines are extremely strong dragons. I understand how ppl get irritated at “book girl boss” characters because they’re usually just regular people in contemporary romance who aren’t anything or haven’t done anything to deserve acting so high and mighty. And they’re usually written by new authors who haven’t learned the trade of writing 3 dimensional characters.

These girls are not that. I’ve only read books 1&2 so far, but I can with confidence this author knows exactly who she’s writing. They are dragons. The hoarding kind. The “everything I want and take and add to my hoard is mine” kind. The most intensely prideful kind. The ACTUAL alphas in feminine form kind. Where if someone were to actually knock them down a peg, they would lose all sense of reality.

The attitude, the actions, their words, literally everything fits for these FMC heroines and nothing they do or say is out of place for who they are.

What makes these romances unique and very interesting is how the MMCs fit in their world. They’re not cinnamon roll betas in the slightest and that clash/tension is fun to watch unfold. The mysticism in mates, claiming, and so on makes it even more fun.

These aren’t your run of the mill paranormal romance stories w/ conflicted human FMCs. This is something unique and better, imo. And all 3 books in one credit is definitely worth the purchase.

Not the E Langlais I was expecting

Okay, I bought this 3in1 collection B/C it was on sale and I've enjoyed over a dozen EL books in the past. They have been fun, fast, entertaining, and sexy.
This series was not. Maybe it was me not being in the right mood, but the stories just didn't hit the way way that they should. The male heroes, dragons, were not likable, so I could not relate to the Female MCs who loved them.
However, in the epilogue of book 3, a new protagonist is introduced with a new heroine who was a support character in book 1. THIS scenario holds promise as being more in line with the EL that I look for: not long winded, action filled, and just the right amount of sex.
So yes, I'll keep reading/listening.--as long as Chandra Skyye is not narrating. She's my least fave narrator, and only B/C she can't pronounce the Ts at the end of words. (Sorry CS, but listen to your own recordings, it is SUPER irritating.) "cerin", "tighin",etc. there are Ts at the end of these words, and you don't sound professional when you don't pronounce them. It's not an issue of an accent, it's bad diction, and I'm not even a librarian.

Loved listening to the first part of Dragon Point series. Wonderfully written with lots of twists and turns. Can't wait to listen to the rest.
