Summary

Recipe for disaster: Combine one bratty, high-heeled boy-band star with a strict, legendary manager who also happens to be a Daddy Dom. Stir briskly. Then stand back and wait for the explosion.

A meltdown of epic proportions is only the beginning when Silas James takes over the management duties of dance-music sensation Three Trick Pony. The band’s superstar status is in question thanks to lead singer Jett’s diva attitude. Silas would love to get Jett alone and give him a hearty spanking. Trouble is, he’d like to do plenty of other kinky things to the femme boy as well.

Jett can’t believe his record company hired the biggest asshole he’s ever met to manage the band. Who does the gorgeous hunk think he is, telling the great Jett Fine what to do? No worries. He’ll get the jerk in bed and then have him wrapped around his pinkie finger in no time. This Silas character might think he’s being cool, but Jett can tell when a man is panting after a femme boy who can work it in lingerie and high heels.

But what if Silas is the one with all the tricks up his sleeve?

Diva Pop is the fifth book in the steamy Command & Care M/M Daddy romance series and can be listened to as a stand-alone. Each book shares a common theme, but no characters overlap. If you like femme boys with an extra naughty streak, an older, distinguished Daddy with a firm hand, and enemies-to-lovers romance, then you’ll adore Morticia Knight’s scorching tale of burning passions.

Silas and Jett the Diva MM

Part of a series but easily read as a standalone book.

Jett, a pop diva, is great at throwing tantrums, hates anyone in his personal space, and doesn't even let his best friend and band member Cody touch him. Part of Three Trick Pony, the other band member, Paul, snaps at Jett, but the feeling is mutual.

Silas, a well-known band manager. Unknown to the members of Three Trick Pony, Silas has been brought in to manage and turn the band around. Silas arrives with two new dancers and upsets everyone.

I enjoy this book as I do with most of Morticia's books. We get a Diva who needs a Daddy to control him. We get a Daddy who needs a boy to control, a best friend who finds his HEA, and other side characters. In this book, Jett gets a tough ride, and I love the gritty part that almost costs him his life.

In my opinion, it's worth a read, especially if you like Daddy/Boy stories.

The right amount of kink to keep you happy, but it doesn't dominate the story.

I have to praise John Solo for his brilliant narration of this book. I did have to speed up, but that's normal for me. I read at speed 1.25 on audible.

Loved it!

I am such a fan of both John Solo and Morticia Knight… the story is beautifully written, the relationship development and side characters are wonderful and the performance brought such depth and emotion to this already fantastic story. Silas is everything that Jett needs and didn’t know he wanted and it was just perfect. Sexy, sweet and so incredibly caring.

Unstoppable force meet immovable object

I loved the way Jett was so confident here that just because he could tell Silas wanted him, he could control him and get away with anything he wanted to. After all, it had always worked for him in the past. It had also left him lost, adrift and making bad choices. Fortunately for him, Silas was in no way the pushover he expected. The sparks their clashes generated lit a fire between them that was off the charts. John Solo did a perfect job with these two, capturing Jett's initial confidence in having the upper hand and then letting us hear how that begins to wane as he is first confused by and then captured by his reaction to Silas.

Another great addition to this series

Oh Jet is a Diva - but he is also a young man with abandonment issues and a lot of insecurities. And hello mr. new manager stepping up and making Jet realize all kinds of truths about himself but keeping his diva spirit. I love every book in this series even though they are stand alone’s - the vibe is just amazing and John Solo is as always outstanding!!

Great book

This was a great book. I love that John Solo has done this series for us. I can't get enough of his voice and how well he brings these characters to life. Silas and Jett were perfect together. Jett is labeled as bratty and Silas realizes right away that it is something more. These two can't help the pull they feel towards each other but while one trying to keep things professional and another as long standing issues with abandonment and other issues, these two have some serious drama, and up and downs that they have get through to finally get to their HEA.

Diva Pop

When Silas is tasked with trying to save the pop group Three Tick Pony, he sees so much more than a diva in Jett. Where everyone sees a problem Silas sees a beyond the sass and bad behavior. Only Jett must learn to trust before anything can begin to happen. Soon the two are in a war of wills that take Jett down a destructive path but when he needs Silas the most the man shows Jett just who he can count on.

This is wonderful story about finding love and the hard work it takes to keep it. I enjoyed Silas and Jett’s story. Silas sees what no one else does in Jett and he is not afraid to show Jett that he is someone that can be trusted. The sexual tension between the two is off the charts from the very start of their story and it was nice to see the bond grow between them. Their story is a fast-paced opposites attract one. The author weaves a nice romance that comes with some angst and trouble in it. Narrator John Solo does a good job of bringing these characters to life and pulling me into their story and feeling the emotions.

Up for the challenge

Jett is a dancing pop sensation who is also a brat that is proving to become a bit of a challenge.
When patient, but strict Silas comes into his life, the Daddy will challenge him in many different ways.

A book about boy who was shouting for someone to take notice of him and Silas was a Daddy who was experienced enough to realise what Jett needed.
The story is steamy with a little bit of drama added in to keep you engaged.

The narration is perfect and Mr Solo brings these characters to life wonderfully.

excellent

The buildup of sexual tension between Silas and Jett was palpable and captivating to watch play out. The push and pull and Jett's brattiness was compelling. I was not ready for the unexpected dark turn this took. It was very suspenseful, but glad it was short. It was interesting watching Silas and Jett negotiate their new and changing relationship. Sweet ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.
