Interestingly informative
This is an interesting ramble through modern theories of cosmology consisting of loosely connected essays on individual themes. Sometimes they overlap - some clearly date pre 2000 - but give an interesting insight into the subject matter though some topics eg time in the context of quantum mechanics were beyond my comprehension as a non scientist. I will listen to this again.
The reading I found somewhat bizarre. The narrator’s default voice was pleasant and expressive. However, and for no reason based on content although often at the beginning of a sentence, she resorts to a grating mechanical delivery like a demented dalek before returning to her normal tone. Distracting!

Great content but narration let it down
Loved the content but the narrator had an annoying habit of lowering and increasing the volume of her otherwise lovely soothing voice at the beginning of a lot of sentences which became jarring and odd. Kept anticipating it, had to stop listening.

Nicely written, great narration
A well written book with just the right level of detail without complex concepts or equations. Narrator is also pleasant and attacks the text with all the nuances and speed that keeps you engaged.

Possibly good but annoyingly distracting.
Pretty sure I would have enjoyed the title were it not for the condescending story time pitch of reading and detours about the discoverers particularly feminist achievements. More than happy to fly the flag but grasping the root stuff was my reason for choosing the book.

Narration was too bad to finish
I couldn’t finish what I felt could have been an amazing listen. The narrators voice was nice and soft, but then suddenly would be all robotic like and harsh. It was so irritating I could only manage three chapters. It’s a shame.
