Summary

"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why."- Mark Twain

Do you often jump off your bed to crush your day or just keep waiting for the weekend & say "Thank God It’s Friday?"

Do you feel stressed and often ask why we do what we do? Do you find yourself overwhelmed, lacking a sense of priority, and unsure who you were meant to be?

Imagine having a clear sense of purpose that fills you with enthusiasm to give your best shot in whatever you do. Imagine moving towards your dream with relentless focus and transforming every obstacle into opportunity.

Yes, you can thrive in this world, if you understand the psychology of purpose and know how to find your why.

Good news! DISCOVER YOUR WHY is here to transform your mindset, uncover your strengths, help you find your why, and put your life on the right trajectory.

  • Learn how Japanese live longer with the power of "Ikigai".
  • Should your purpose be limited to self-actualization or transcend beyond yourself - understand from Abraham Maslow and learn why purpose is your soul’s oxygen?
  • How your three-part brain works and why Neocortex (thinking) brain strives you to always start with why.
  • Understand how improved ranking on your Purpose-in-Life Scale helps you avoid Alzheimer’s, heart stroke, cure cancer, quit drugs and alcohol, and makes you live longer
  • Learn how you can measure your own purpose-in-life scale.
  • How studies show that a clear purpose makes your more money too.

Please get new narrator!

I felt the content of this book to be excellant. Full of actionable exercises to help you determine your purpose in life. I'm probably going to be giving out hard copies to friends and family. Unfortunately, I can only recommend the Audible version to those able to get past the stilted reading, unemotional tone and meriad mispronunciations and reading mistakes. I felt like I was listening to a child learning to read with an adult computer voice.

Hard to finish

There is great content in this, but the grammar errors, misprononciations, and monotone voice of the reader make this awful. Very difficult to finish.

Boring

All he does is quote other books. so why did I just pay money for this book when I could get the originals?

Good read for new seekers

Bad English, good quotes. The narrator seemed annoyed at having to speak verbatim, but he has a pleasant voice.

Good Book on Why you should have a "Why"

Good book on explaining why you need to have a "Why / Purpose" in your life and how that is different from your "passion." Only a few minutes on how to determine you Why/Purpose. Limited explanation on the reason I read/listened to the book. The title of the book should "Why you need a Why in your life." Very little on actually discovering you WHY. He talks slow so I speeded it up to 1.5 times faster on iPhone for a more normal pace.
