Summary
Sappho war's nicht. Die erste Liebeslyrik der Weltliteratur entstand in der Zeit des ägyptischen Pharaos Ramses des Großen (um 1303 - 1213 v. Chr). Raoul Schrotts Nachdichtung holt die Szenen der Liebessehnsucht und des Liebeswerbens direkt ins Heute. Das Komponisten- und Hörspielmachertrio Kretzschmar/Milliken/Wiesner (HCD), aus der Neuen Musik kommend, holt die Verse über musikalische Spielformen in die Gegenwart, ohne dabei die historische Differenz zu leugnen. Im Miteinander zweier Sprech- und Gesangsstimmen ersteht ein Liebespanorama, das einen Bogen über die Jahrtausende spannt.
