About this listen
For thousands of years, mankind had lived in harmony with nature. But that harmony is now lost as we continue to pollute and rape the planet for our own greed and material possession. We decimate areas of the natural world to feed and home an ever exploding population and hunt animals in the name of sport, and for cruelty itself.
Now, something is happening to our species. Planet Earth is fighting back, and it’s taking away our advantage: humankind’s intelligence. The World Health Organization must find out what is happening as acts of unprecedented violence sweep across the globe.
But when Joceline Mercier, the head scientist, stumbles upon the answers, everything we thought we knew about our past and future changes. With time almost up, has she discovered the answers too late?

Good story, bad narrator
For the love of God: either get a British narrator (or one who can do a convincing British accent, at least), or just read the entire thing in an American accent! I don't care that some of the main characters are British, at least it would be consistent, and nowhere near as cringeworthy as this narrator's attempt at a British accent; as for his Scottish accent: the less said, the better (literally in this case)... The story itself is good (or at least fine), but the narrator puts a real damper on my enthusiasm... As long as he's not doing a British character he's at least passable (if slightly monotonous), but that's about it. If you can stomach the narrator I'd recommend this, but if not: I couldn't blame you for taking a pass on this one...
