Great to see Joni and Namu back in the latest installment of Hayleys journey. Drake as Hayleys Dragon is great. The psychi powers are coming to their own. Many new warnings as Corbin ends up yet another place he can cause mayhem. I cant wait for more!

I suddenly realised what this series reminded me of. In the 1980s, cartoon series usually had a set pattern of the same good guys against the same bad guys with the two going up against each other in each episode. This would go terribly wrong before good defeated evil, until the next episode when it would happen again but with a different story line. Each episode would have a new set of side characters that would inevitably work with the good guys to win and eventually promise their eternal friendship and support to the good guys. Sometimes you would see them again in another episode but many times the end of the episode marked the end of their contribution in fight against evil. This series reminds me a bit of that plot structure and, in that way, is nostalgic. Of course, in this series there are darker elements and a lot of humour, which is great fun!

Hailey and her friends continue to fight against Corbin. The story has magic, witches, vampires, werewolves, dragons and a whole lot of mayhem. Kelley Hazen has done a fantastic job of performing the story, pulling you straight into the action. I am looking forward to the rest of the series!
