Great beginning !
And we have the start to an erotic romantic suspense, age-gap story! Amarie Avant always delivers an interesting plot with building love that is spicy! Luxury is taken with the older Victor. He is infatuated with the young beauty and while on a mission, he has decided to deviate from the task and pursue her. He is a little mysterious, as his does not come forward with his true identity, but lets his pleasures guide him, train Luxury and enjoy his budding relationship. But what will happen when the truth comes to light? Will it still be just physical? Will feelings begin to get in the way? And what will Luxury do when she finds out exactly who Victor is? Fast paced, sensual and a touch of romance, this book just leaves you wanting to know more. Get ready to pick up book 2 right away!
JT Farrell is amazing as Victor. I enjoy his voices, with and without accents, he provides a realistic feel to his characters. As Victor, he is commanding, hard to not be infatuated with him and hate him all at the same time. Aure Nash is perfectly cast as Luxury. A bratty, young adult, she gives us just enough naivete with her sexual prowess. I can't wait to see where these narrators take us in the story.

Royal Age Gap Romance
Deviant Royal by Amarie Avant is a royal age gap romance that I listened to on audio narrated by JT Farrell and Aure Nash. This is the first book in the Duke of Tudor series.
This is the first book of Amarie's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I will say it took me a while to get into the book. But, by the end it left me wanting to see how Victor and Luxury relationship will evolve over the course of the series.
JT and Aure did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like romantic suspense, age gap romances, or royal romances.

Good Listen
Lux father has a hit on him but the person sent to do the job falls for Lux and refuses to fulfill the contract. Now everyone is in danger because others have been sent to finish the job and add two more people. Lux is street smart but you think she is a fool for the man she has fallen for. She is strong but has been through so much that it takes her a minute to realize her own strength.

Luxury and Victor!
Less than ideal circumstances bring Victor into Luxury's life but once he meets her his previous agenda is put on hold. There is no denying the chemistry between them but the feelings he is developing for her were not part of the plan especially when you factor in the secrets he holds.
Luxury is drawn to Victor in a way she didn't expect however she is about to find out that their chance
meeting is anything and what she doesn't know about him will change everything.
Turmoil, suspense and hot chemistry leave us wanting more of Victor and Luxury's story. I thought that the narrators did a great job with the characters and their story. 🎧Audiobook Obsession
