Summary
He stole her lyrics, and then he stole her heart.
Lyric Cassidy is off the tour, lost as to what her next career move will be, and certain that she'll never love again after Wolf. All because of a social media scandal that left her with no choice but to pack up and face the consequences. When she learns that the fate of her career is in her hands, she has a difficult decision to make. Step back on the tour bus with Wolf and deal with the mess she left behind, or end her contract early and lose her job at Perform Live?
Wolf's shattered heart finds no resolve in giving Lyric a chance to come back on tour. He can never be with her again. Not after she walked away. Conflicted with wants and needs, he struggles to remember who Wolf was before Lyric. That's what he needs to become again. Maybe then his heart will be safe. Or maybe there's no hope for the damaged.
But with stolen dreams, betrayals, and terrifying threats - no one's heart is safe. Not even the ones that may be destined to be together.

Short story with far too many interruptions.
An interesting story line and engaging plot, but exasperating as constantly interrupted with drawn out sex scenes. (uh oh,and theyre off again!) 😩 . Great narrators though.

Fully involved in the story
4.5 stars - Picking up right where Dangerous Hearts left off, Destined Hearts took some twists and turns I never saw coming and had me so involved, I was yelling at the characters for not figuring out the obvious. Lol. I loved getting to know Wolf’s band mates better and had a major crush on Lyric’s dad by the end of the book. I only wish I could actually hear some of the songs whose lyrics were in the story.

A Nice Ending
The narration is winning with K.K. Allen's books. I thoroughly enjoyed the narrators. It honestly makes this book more enjoyable because I had a fee eyeroll moments and had it not been for the wonderful voices of the narrators. it would have taken me much longer to finish this book. So I recommend this book for the narration alone.
The second book in this duet is filled with some drama. I was annoyed by it at first, but when Lyric and Wolf get over their pain, I really starting enjoying the story again. I also enjoyed the drama filled twist. It really made me feel bad for Lyric and understand her a lot more. So yes, I still liked this book, just as much I liked the first book in the duet.

Last minute plot twist
Why do author's feel the need to throw in ridiculously unplausible plot twists 3/4s of the way into these things? This was a very good rock star love story with believeable characters, good backstories and a slow burn romance. It did not need a crazy twist!
Overall this is a great duet with a long over arching plot, it just goes completely off the rails for a few chapters and then wraps up with hast.

Loved more than book 1!!!
I didn’t think it was possible, but this book is even better than book 1 of the duet!! KK Allen had outdone herself! This entire duet is sexy and fun while being sweet and caring. However, in Destined Hearts she adds in a ton of suspense. I couldn’t stop listening! She was throwing curveball after curveball and taking me on this intense ride!! I was rooting for Lyric and Wolf... sigh, that ending.
These narrators were perfect! I loved this book! So much! I felt the tension coming through John Masterson’s voice. I felt the fear in them both. Plus the anger, the portrayal of emotions was so good. Bravo!!! Y’all are a great team and compliment each other very well. I want more!!

Great continuation to this duet
Destined Hearts continues right where Dangerous Hearts left off.
K.K. Allen did a remarkable job with this story and she had me hooked until the last page. This novel was a roller-coaster of emotion.
While this was the continuation of Wolf and Lyric's story, the band members were also there along with a couple additional characters who all contributed to making this story so much more than I expected. I loved watching the progression of Wolf and Lyric's relationship. It was fast paced and had me wondering what will happen next.
The plot was fantastic, with the intrigue, the angst, the twists and turns and most importantly the romance. I was at the edge of my seat for most of the book.
The narration was ok. While the two narrators complimented each other, I really did not connect them with the characters. However this did not prevent me from enjoying the story.
This page-turner was a great conclusion to this duet.

Loved This Duet!!!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I had already read and reviewed this book and listening to the audio was amazing. The narrators were great and just made you love the story even more. K.K. Allen has a way of writing that takes your breath away. Wolf and Lyric’s love story takes you on an amazing journey that will grip your heart, make you laugh and make you cry. I highly recommend listening to this book!!

2-2.5 Stars
I was really hoping that this second book would increase my rating for this duet as a whole. It did not. If anything, exasperation increased. I honestly feel that Wolfe and Lyric's story could have been condensed into one book. That's saying a lot from someone who loves BIG books with lots of detail. The unnecessary sex scenes would have decreased it immeasurably. I don't mind them, but in this book, "less is more." Maybe, it's because I didn't fully connect with these characters or story. Many times, the intimate scenes felt thrown in and/or awkward. Also, I love a great book hero, but I never fully believed in Wolfe. He never felt like a character who was wholly reformed or redeemed. The best part of this book was the "jump-the-shark" moment towards the end. I won't spoil it, but it was so out of left field, that I couldn't help but watch the "car wreck." Meaning "car wreck" in the best way possible. As for listening to the audio, I tolerated the narration much better than the first book.

The best duet ever!!
Destined hearts book two of the stolen melody duet was one of the best duet's I've read / listened to in a long time. Its not just a rock star romance at all.. It has all the feels you could ask for. Author KK Allen did a fabulous job writing and the narration on both books was very well done by Lynn and john... superb job guys. So happy you did the duet. . In the title of both books is the word hearts ... These books pull on all your heart strings.... family, friendship, longing ,loving ,caring ,kindness,,heart break, fear ,loyalty but most of all trust. Trust me you need to get both books today you won't regret it. Click it and Enjoy☺
