Summary

Dort hört er die Lebensgeschichte eines gutherzigen Mannes, dessen einzige Lebensinhalte sein Instrument und die Bäckerstochter Barbara sind - das eine kann er nicht spielen, die andere weist ihn wegen seiner Lebensuntüchtigkeit zurück. Was bleibt, ist Jakobs tief empfundene Leidenschaft für die Musik.
