Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

Somalia - a lawless, violent land, ignored by the West, ripped apart by civil war and famine, fought over by drug-fuelled, gun-crazy clan fighters. They want the world to sit up and take notice. They have a new and terrifying weapon - pirates.

And now, the pirates have in their possession the young son of a Russian oligarch, snatched from a luxury yacht in the Seychelles. His father wants him back, will pay anything, stop at nothing to retrieve his boy. Up to now everything he has tried has failed. He needs the one man with the know-how, the means and the guts to complete the mission: ex-SAS trouble-shooter Nick Stone....

Dead Centre takes you to the reality behind the headlines, into the poorest and most violent country on the planet, a place that no sane person would choose to be.

Andy McNab has been there, seen it, done it. No other thriller writer can take you so close to the action.

Probably the best in the series so far.

There are many in this series that really stand out but Dead Centre is a fantastic read.

McNab’s dry, military sense of humour and use of mil slang is pin-point accurate.

If Thornley ever left the series, I’d really struggle with it, he’s been doing it right for so long now.

Enjoy

Full Five Stars, easily...

Story line is dynamic and continually moving. Great characters who give the story depth. But the thing we all enjoy about Nick Stone is the fights and battles he gets into! Probably his best book to date and I love them all.
Paul Thornley is Nick Stone's voice for me. Excellently narrated.

Re-release not a new title.

This is a re-release. If you’re like me and desperate for the next Nick Stone novel then sorry to disappoint but you will still be waiting.

Pretty good

Pretty good plot. There are some great action scenes in Mogadishu. The ending was very nice indeed. It’s great when Stone gets a happy ending!

Loved this one

I was beginning to feel i had exhausted this genre. Loved it, the sort where you drive a little bit further because you’re hooked in. Great mix of events places and action, never tedious. Thanks
