Absolutely Amazing Book

These fifty manipulation techniques are explained by Dr. Jordan, and it's all quite enlightening. The examples, which draw from real-world situations, are spot-on and help everything fall into place. It also provides you with a clearer perspective on the world, which aids in improving your ability to negotiate relationships. It's not only about knowing the negative stuff.
It demonstrates that Dr. Jordan is using the material to foster a sense of responsibility in addition to exposing the negative aspects. A worthwhile listen for anyone interested in delving deeper into the intricacies of human behaviour.

A book that provokes deep thoughts on relationship

review:

"You know, those times when something seems strange but you're not exactly sure why? Without holding back, this book walks you through every stage of the process. It sets out these fifty sneaky ways that people may manipulate you, and it's as if he's putting a bright light on all the shady things that happen on a regular basis.
The feeling of realism was, for me, the nicest aspect. Dr. Jordan makes these complex psychological ideas very approachable and simple to understand by using examples from everyday life. In addition, his storytelling is so captivating that I couldn't help but nod along while acknowledging events that I had personally witnessed.

It's not all about the negative aspects of things, though. Dr. Jordan strongly advocates using this knowledge for self-defense and improving understanding of others rather than controlling others. I agree with the message conveyed there. Give this a listen; you won't regret it. Do yourself a favour."

relatable

Now, I finished listening to Dr. James Jordan's audiobook, and I have to say, wow. This audiobook dissects manipulation and gaslighting in a way that is both intriguing and a little frightening. I had no idea how deep the rabbit hole of these practises went. The things he discusses are, after all, commonplace, and most of us are merely unaware of them.
Dr. Jordan breaks down these 50 strategies using real-world examples that more than once had me say, ""Oh, that happened to me!"" It's a real eye-opener, but in a way, it also feels like a tool. Like, I can spot the warning flags now and avoid the bullshit.

Congratulations again to Dr. Jordan for urging the audience to apply this knowledge sensibly. It's obvious that his goal is to protect others against manipulation, not turn them into manipulators. This one's for you if you're all about delving into the underlying mechanisms of human behaviour.
