Summary
Dark psychology studies the parts of ourselves that none of us want to recognize. Within this field, our innermost demons are delved into, and a light is shone on the places that we would rather not see but need to see. Dark psychology accepts and embraces the darker side of the human experience. In this way it is doing the same as any area of anthropocentric study does, the only difference lying in dark psychology’s specialty of this dark reality within the human animal.
Dark psychology is not meant to be a pageant of villains, however. Specialists within this field do their work in order to better understand why and how malevolent people work toward their ends, not out of some attempt to gain fame for themselves and or to idolize the more monstrous among us. It is also important to keep in mind that each and every one of us has a dark or “evil” side of our own psychology. While there are some other conduits by which we can reach the realization of this side’s contents, it is dark psychology that provides the clearest route for us in our way toward our enlightenment concerning how dark we truly are and why.
Within this audiobook the following areas are covered with the aim to illuminate their significances in our everyday lives: the principles of dark psychology, “dark personality” traits, studies of dark psychology, mind reading, cognitive psychology, modes of persuasion, controlling emotions, and social engineering and leadership.
When most people think of the term dark psychology they go over the issues of Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sociopathy in their minds. These are what are known as dark personality traits and are a mere microcosm of the field’s overall outreach. These traits are important ones to study as we are all likely to know people who display, with some of us displaying them ourselves. This is just one area of dark psychology that is covered in depth within this audiobook.
Mind reading and modes of persuasion are two other areas delved into here. Virtually anyone can benefit greatly from studying these two areas, so here some useful tips and techniques regarding how to read what others are thinking and how to persuade them to work toward our ends are also included, among many other things.

This book is excellent!
This book is excellent! A definite part of your library if you are sensitive and intuitive. So helpful. The author offers a unique view of being an empath and the ways it has impacted her life and shaped her into the life she has now. It gave me comfort to know I am not the only person who gets overwhelmed walking into a room full of people. I have also always attracted those who are feeling intense emotions, and that can be overwhelming, too. He offers not only insight but suggestions on navigating your life. I highly recommend this book. Highly recommend

I am very glad to listen this book. This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to get people to do exactly what you want them to do without them even realizing. its an ultimate manipulation handbook packed with tons of little known manipulation strategies, proven secrets of mind control and actionable techniques. Eye Opening
Surprisingly a more interesting listen than I was expecting. I found this book very intriguing as it helps you learn how to work with people’s mind and take advantage of their innermost feeling and wants and get whatever we want from them. How many ways can one pronounce “Machiavellian”?
I had to stop listening to the simply due to the uneven narration and the constant mispronunciation of, well, just about everything. Yes, usually I was able to divine what the narrator was saying. But, dear narrator, “casual” and “causal” are very different words.
There was something poetic about the likely unintentional aural transformation of “Machiavellian (n)” into “Machiavillain,” however. It gets an extra star for that.

Is this narrator a computer program?
Because their pronunciation of words is weird. They're monotone and difficult to keep listening too. The info in this book is sort of interesting. But the production of this audio book is utter crap. Skip this.

A survival guide for today world
Filled the gaps of understanding in a way other books before it couldn't. It makes the notion, all of them really, easier to digest and work with. It has served me tremendously in many areas, including my anxiety.
