Summary
Something very strange is happening in LeHorn's Hollow.
Eerie, piping music is heard late at night, and mysterious fires have been spotted deep in the woods. Women are vanishing without a trace overnight, leaving behind husbands and families.
When up-and-coming novelist Adam Senft stumbles upon an unearthly scene, it plunges him and the entire town into an ancient nightmare. Folks say the woods in LeHorn's Hollow are haunted, but what waits there is far worse than any ghost. It has been summoned...and now it demands to be satisfied.

Blew me away!
Wow, Dark Hollow blew me away! My favourite Brian Keene story so far. I liked the characters, they felt very real and like they really were friends. The way Keene fleshed them all out was really impressive, even Big Steve the dog had an amazing character and story arch.
Having the characters so well fleshed out made it a hard listen when it all hit the fan. The ending had me chocked up with teary eyes.
Chet Williamson’s narration only added to making these characters real.

Quality American Horror from Modern Master
While Dark Hollow isn't one of Brian Keene's best books - my favourites are Ghoul and The Rising - his work is always entertaining and full of great characters.
Chet Williamson's narration is typically excellent.
A quality presentation from Crossroad Press.
Recommended.

KAZ 😁 Bedford 🇬🇧
This is quite a good book in my opinion it's dark and has a good story line to it, good character's who are sometime's funny A dog that's complete coward until near the end then he's a hero The main badly is a demon called Pan The 1 thing that I didn't enjoy was the very graphic sex & swearing but you get used to it 😁 Wasn't able to put my rating on so I'd say 4 out of 10 overall it's not bad

Not listening at night time !!!
I loved listening to this book, the narrator Chet Williamson really helps bringing the character and story to life. It is my first book with this author and I was not disappointed.
It deals with real myths and legends.
A lot of suspense In this novel. The action does keeps going

Just... don't waste money on this.
I expected a ghost story thriller. This is NOT that. It is narrated from the point of view from a middle aged over-sexed man who describes his erections and his dog defecating.
After the narrator started discussing his dog's sexuality... I was like "what the heck!?"
And I had to stop listening. Truly bizarre and disgusting. Please don't think this is going to be a mysterious ghost story.. it's just garbage that creates unwanted mental imagery. Skip it.

Sex, action, blood and good time gore
Shelly’s really blowing it.'
Thanks, Shelly.
Now the entire population of LeHorns Hollow is either going to get made sweet sweet love to or get murdered. Probably both.
Yeah, Thanks.
Once again Chet perfectly narrates the doo-doo out of a Keene tale. Satyr doo-doo to be exact. Action packed and funny with appropriate amounts of grossness and blood throughout.
“The dogs got scared and we got erections.”
Yep. That about sums it up.

another Great Brian Keene
I always appreciate how Keene brings the people in his story to life! Dark Hallow does not disappoint. In this story the "Keene" magic is spun, weaving extreme and dire circumstances, causing characters who you love and familiarize with, to band together and attempt to thwart the horror before them. Evil magic versus heart magic.

Extremely Corny!
Like a really really bad horror movie from the 80’s only if all the characters were also big wussies.
Main character screams and pukes in situations. Also feels guilty all the time even for looking at a girl running down the street. Worst of all it wasn’t even that gory or brutal. Just drags on and on. Not worth the credit.

Dirty folk horror
I liked this one! A cool folk horror story. Some surprisingly explicit sex scenes, which can be awkward to listen to when you’re walking around in public, but they fit well into the story and feel feel gratuitous in context. If you like folk horror, eldritch satyrs, and weird gods, and don’t mind some dirty bits, this one’s for you!
