as per my title, the story is intense, a lot of kinky sex and it is well described in all the glorious details. not everybody's cup of tea, but definitely good for the lovers of the genre. thomas locklear is a genius. his narration is absolutely brilliant.

Loved this book, a bit of everything, the beautiful Savannah who falls for the sexy Rafael who is a bit of a bad boy, but actually when you get to know his character, who wouldn't fall for him? I listened to this on Audible and it was so well narrated, with a good story that kept me glued to the end! Looking forward listening/reading more from this author. ,

This is my first listen from Piper Stone and it did not disappoint. The story draws you in and the characters are interesting the chemistry between Savannah and Rafael was so hot made even better by Thomas Locklear and his Spanish accent 🥵
Savannah left America to escape dangerous men and start anew but she attracted Rafael Santiago and she got caught up in his Mafia affairs but was she ready for the rollercoaster ride.

What a great performance from Thomas, brilliant accents. This storyline is great, there’s a lot of action and the leading lady is a strong woman, which I love.

A dark Mafia romance. Savannah is in Spain to help her aunt run an art gallery while she's on holiday but she doesn’t even make it to her destination before she's in grave danger. Raphael is the underboss of his family's crime family—and a sadist. I didn’t quite connect with the characters in this one, and the first half moved slowly for me, although after that, the degree of tension increased & I enjoyed the story more. I’ve read the book previously, and Thomas Locklear’s narration brought the story to life. I really enjoyed his interpretation of Raphael, Savannah less so but it certainly didn’t stop me from listening to the story.

I asked the narrator, Thomas Locklear for a copy of this audio book after hearing a sample. I watch for his narration because I think he can hypnotize with that voice. He just brings characters to life. I love the Spanish accent. These characters have so many different situations they are in. Sexy, questioning, rough mafia boss and the list goes on yet the narration has the tone of voice to each. The way Rafael keeps insisting he is not a good man yet where Savannah is concerned he appears very good. The attraction between these two held my attention.

This story has intrigue, violence, betrayal, kidnapping, with some very hot steamy scenes.
There is a very sexy. Dominant Alpha Male Rafael , a sexy Savannah .
There were so many layers to this story. Savannah moves to Spain to run her Aunts gallery . She finds herself in a dangerous situation and is saved by a handsome stranger who she just can’t get out of her mind.

Rafael is a powerful mob boss reeling from the death of his older brother and trying to prove himself , and come out from under his fathers shadow. He saves Savannah from being attacked, knowing that this will cause problems for his family.
There is violence but some very hot moments between Raphael and Savannah .

Let me just start by saying that Thomas is amazing. All the characters he does so well I thought it was several different narrators. Yes it’s that incredible of a performance.

Thomas’ voice sounds like a female it really does, a sexy Savanna and then he seamlessly goes right into Rafael with all the masculinity that curls your toes.

There’s lots of sexy times in this book, tons of suspense and twists that I didn’t see coming that kept me fully entertained from start to finish. The writing is fantastic, with angst, and gritty dark rousing family mafia strife happening and you need to find out how the villain is so you forego doing anything until you know that ending.

I’m only on my second audiobook by Thomas Locklear and I think I’m addicted to his voices! Bravo 🎉
I was lucky to have been gifted this audiobook but definitely find its worthy of a credit.
