Dark dealings in a romance
I found the darker issues in this book quite chilling.
I enjoyed the characters and the story good. Unfortunately the narrator’s poor pronunciation of places, names and halting shortening sentences. Especially when in a conversation between characters, frustrating . I must say that her varied characters voices were good.
This is a problem with American Narrator’s reading British stories.
It brings a promising book down to an annoying read.
