Summary
Tristan DancingStar is dedicated to helping preserve his tribe's rich traditions and heritage and leading them into even brighter things down the road. His father, the Principal of the local elementary school, has been charged with the task of helping select Tristan's future mate in a very traditional arrangement from those normally undertaken in this day and age. Tristan walks a fine line between contemporary business and caring for the needs of his people. He has a strong moral fiber that will not allow bending of rules.
Emma Kendrick has always lived a vagabond life with her missionary parents. She doesn't have roots or a place to call home until she comes back to her mother's birthplace, Eagle Ridge.
