Thought provoking and inspiring
I was recommended this broke by a colleague.
It seems serendipitous this time where I’m trying to expose the injustices within an organisation that I would read/listen to this book there are moments where if I question myself the words encourage me to stand up for what I think is wrong and make a stand up.
This book will make you think of how can I make a difference and how can his words inspire me to be a better person.
I hope I have the opportunity to listen to it again

Key reading about a fundamental virtue of Stoicism
Really enjoyed listening to this audiobook by Ryan Holiday, another one to add to my life guidance library!
I also think of what Gandalf said, about bravery being about knowing when to stay our hand. This counts for each time we can choose to not harm anyone (any sentient life) when we know we have the option not to

The Anecdotes
This book was very insightful and challenges in a subtle way thee concepts of bravery and courage. I have extracted that courage is the willingness to be the anomaly it is the willingness to stand out for a right cause.

One of the best books I've read
I absolutely loved this book through and through.
Easy listen, concise short chapters. Brilliant writing with practical lessons and good narration.
10/10 recommend.
Very much looking forward to the next 3 books, especially the next one on self discipline/temperance.

Another superb slice of stoicism from Ryan Holiday.
Nobody does modern stoicism better than Holiday and this is another excellent addition to his work.
The chapter on the Spartan 300 is perhaps his finest singular piece of writing ever.
