About this listen

In Contrary to Popular Opinion , Alan Dershowitz selects his most current newspaper columns, articles and essays and adds original commentary to present a highly spirited discussion about the most pressing issues of our time. Never one to fear controversy, Dershowitz addresses judges, justices, juries and the courts: anti-Semitism at home and abroad; free expression vs. intolerance in a pluralistic and democratic society; the State vs. individual rights; and the politics and morality of capitol punishment, abortion and the "right to die" movement. Contrary to Popular Opinion continues the author's well-known style of studied audacity. Alan Dershowitz says what's on his mind and backs it up with solid logic and surprising arguments.©1994 Alan M. Dershowitz (P)2009 Phoenix Politics & Government United States World

Narration by Dershowitz. He is clear and honest in all his books. This one is no exception. He covers a variety of topics and gives an interesting insight into various court cases and rulings that have had significant impacts on the way the legal system operates these days. Its short and sweet. A simple read. I would recommend this and any other of his books on Audible. I did not give it 5 stars because its not very current.

Dershowitz is a great read
