Excellent book!

Not only is the content of this book great, but James lives out what he teaches. I’ve personally learned so much from following James on LinkedIn.

He talked about taking people out to eat to build on relationships in the book. When I flew to Orlando a few months back, he picked me up and bought me breakfast.

Predictable Content

While this book is on the shorter side, I hoped that the framework was going to be something beyond pick your target, interview them, and build a relationship. The deep insights, discussion of failure, etc were completely absent leaving a very basic conceptual walkthrough.

If you know nothing about the podcast incision strategy business this book will be a great introduction, but falls short of what it could have been.

Create a platform to Spotlight People if Interest.

James has a great job explaining how if you keep your name out there and then create a social dynamic through podcasting You can make your potential business connections aware of your skills and abilities while at the same time providing value and benefit to them through the marketing of your podcast. My quick takeaway. I'd recommend giving it a listen it's not that long but very insightful especially if you've already had these ideas and haven't acted yet. like myself

Simplistically Brilliant

Finished in a week; found myself saying DUH, why don’t I do this already. Anyone who is in sales should listen to this and walk over to marketing and tell them you need to do this as it will impact your world 10x. 5- stars— the way of the future, start now!!
