Really good narration and an excellent story.
This story has plenty to keep you interested. The narration was easy to listen to yet animate and not boring.

Not as good as "Eye of the needle."
Narration was very good. Storyline was sadly mediocre. Not one of Ken's best, but still listenable.

Disappointing
This was my least favourite book by this author. To be fair the performance by Ian Porter was very good and he made the best of an average story.
Fell short of what I expect from Ken Follet.

Below his usual standard
I’m a big fan of Ken Follett and had this been the first book of his I read I may not have read as many as I have!
His best work is “Pillars of The Earth”

An excellent thriller
Another engaging thriller from the talented Mr Follett. The historical facts are interesting and the story original and tense. I was happy to suspend disbelief and overlook small contradictions for the sake of enjoying a good story. Follett imo seldom disappoints.

Rockets, espionage, romance. What more could you want?
A great story interspersed with just enough technical information on rockets and the space race to understand what is going on. Set before mobile phones and WiFi its interesting historically. It makes you think about loyalties, beliefs and integrity as well as a great story that is difficult to switch off.
