Story
Twenty-three years ago, a young girl went missing. Two days later her body was found lodged beneath the footbridge over Boulder Creek. The murder shook the town but they soon found it was only the beginning. A serial killer hides among them - a serial killer who strikes twice, sometimes three times a year. Mason Cooper couldn’t wait to leave Gillette Park. At 18, she headed off to college and the bright lights of Los Angeles, thinking she'd never return home to the broken family and forgotten friendships she'd left behind.

Summary
The face of terror is hard to recognize - especially when it's homegrown. Blair Powell is set to join her father on the campaign trail even though a domestic terrorist group has already launched one attack on President Andrew Powell's life. The orchestrators of the assassination attempt are still at large, and Andrew's opponent is a popular ultra-conservative with questionable ties to the radical right. Blair's wife, DHS Deputy Director Cameron Roberts, has been charged with the task of tracking down those responsible for the attack, while secretly searching for proof that a powerful senator is involved in treason. Cam has an ace in the hole no one knows about, however - an agent deep undercover in the stronghold of a radical militia group, FBI SA Loren McElroy. Cam's biggest challenge is running the terrorists to ground without getting McElroy and her renegade handler, Skylar Dunbar, killed in the cross fire.

Outstanding
Outstanding storey line to what is relevant today post the January 6th debacle. Had me on the edge of my seat and reading into the wee hours of the morning.
If we are not carefully this could be where the United States is heading. The republicans want this to happen and they have to be stopped. Why aren't these books made into movies?

Honor Series is a great find
What did you like most about Code of Honor?
First, yes, I would have liked it to be longer but it did the job and had all the key elements of the whole series
What was one of the most memorable moments of Code of Honor?
It was the 'finale' of the series, I think, and so needed to tie up all the loose ends and we did get a cameo of most of the characters we've met during the series. The sex is as hot as ever and the drama and tension was well done.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Its not going to happen but this whole series would make a great netflix original if anyone is listening
Any additional comments?
If you're looking for an easy read, solid story, great and realistic dialogue and want your world view to be women centered and a sexy central romance then this series will tick all your boxes.

Straight to the point
If you could sum up Code of Honor in three words, what would they be?
compared to the other books, this was a let down. I do understand that it was the end of the series but it could have been more entertaining, i felt like the end was rushed. it got straight to the point.
What other book might you compare Code of Honor to, and why?
this one reminded me of the Harlequin books and i find those books really fague and annoyinng
What does Abby Craden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I do love her reading of this series, its amazing great narration skills, even if you do not have any imagination, her reading will paint a picture of everything in the book for you
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
this book was the ending of the series, revealing most of the source of all the attacks on the family, so didn't get the chance to be emotional but i did enjoy it
Any additional comments?
I would really love if Radclyffe could turn these books into movies, i would really like to see the chemistry between blair and cameron.

It's a little different
it's different than the other books in the series. the focus is less on all the characters that have grown up in the series, and more about Cameron and Blair on the side with two new characters being in the spotlight.
Abby Craton did it again though, delivering a phenomenal performance.

Such a great series!
Reviewed January, 2020
Boy - what a week to listen to this book when the subject matter is domestic terrorism and a lunatic right wing militia backed by a high ranking government official is out to bring down the progressive President of the United States. It felt eerie, I won't lie. Especially since this was written back in 2013. And while I really liked this installment as I did all of them, the story took a significant turn away from most of the established characters from previous books.
Undercover agent Loren McElroy and her handler Skylar Dunbar were likable and complete badasses, and what they were involved in was directly tied to the original story line, but I certainly felt the absence of the others. While Abby Craden's narration continues to be fabulous, she does mispronounce McElroy's last name. A minor thing, really, but I was aware of it. It's just amazing how many voices she has in her. And as with all the others in this series, this book was well written and very sexy. These are definitely not ones to miss. I'm kind of dreading listening to book 9 knowing it's Abby's last. I just love these.

The Drama Keeps Going!
Even on book 8 of the series, I'm on the hook! The introduction of the biker gang made this book for me. The relationships associated and the steamy interactions kept me listening as much as I could. The narration is really well done! Even as adults, I think we appreciate someone who "does all the voices."
I've loved the Cameron and Blair dynamic since the first book in the series and it just keeps going!
