About this listen
Settling himself in front of the station fire, a young policeman is little prepared for the account of bloody murder that will be relayed that night. For it seems that Mrs Crosscapel's lodging-house is a place of dark secrets and buried passions - emotions that will soon cloud even his own judgement. Who Killed Zebedee? is a brilliant and highly original tale of horror and the macabre.

Quick mystery romp
A short story from Wilkie Collins, just perfect for a car journey or commute. This is a complete and well wrapped up mystery which all fits into 50 minutes. The narration could have been better, with a more naturalistic style, such as a person would speak, rather than obviously reading from a book. Not such great differentiation between characters either. Big fan of Wilkie Collins power of weaving a yarn. If this is your first short story of his, try others, they are excellent.
