Summary
One woman's struggle against the darkness of Hong Kong's drug dens.
Until it was pulled down, the Walled City was Hong Kong's most foreboding territory. It was a lawless place, dominated by the Triads, and which the police hesitated to enter. Strangers were unwelcome. Drug smuggling and heroin addiction flourished, as did prostitution and pornography, extortion and fear.
When Jackie Pullinger set sail from England in 1966 she had no idea that God was calling her to the Walled City. Yet, as she spoke of Jesus Christ, brutal Triad gangsters were converted, prostitutes quit, and Jackie discovered a new treatment for drug addiction: baptism in the Holy Spirit.

can't recommend enough.
incredible stories which will leave you feeling challenged and excited about everything God can do. The narration of this was great. I was skeptical about it being read not by the author, given it's a non fiction, but it was done so well you didn't notice.

Incredible testaments to God’s loving power!
Packed full of modern day miracles of God’s grace, inspiring us to believe that Jesus Christ is the same today as He was when walking on the earth. I highly recommend this book.

Life changing read
What a journey for such a young women! God never ceases to humble and amaze me. Jackie Pullinger’s passion for Christ is compelling at every level. Abundant miracles, breaking down not only the walls within the walled city, but the walls within society, communities, gangs, addiction, deprivation, poverty, abuse, you name it Jackie has experienced it in her daily pounding of the streets day and night! Oh my! What a story, what a journey, truly humbling, previously inspiring. May God Bless Jackie, her protégés, her family, her mentors. That you Gracious Lord for these gifts that you bestowed upon them and the way you led and protected Jackie. She is clearly one of your Angels walking within us on this earth.
