About this listen

Like every hardworking member of Harper Security Ops, Forrest Hickman takes time away from work to relax and recharge. And he often does that while riding his snowboard on the slopes of his favorite ski resort.

He wasn’t sure anything would be better than some time alone to clear his head. That is, until he meets someone to spend his break with.

Daisy Clark is searching for a place to put down roots. And she’s doing that while she tries to get back to some semblance of a normal life. Daisy’s always been an adventure seeker—that’s what got her into this mess—and that adventure leads her to Forrest.

For two weeks, Forrest and Daisy spend time with one another forming a deep connection. And when the time is up, they go their separate ways. But neither forgets about the other.

Then Daisy’s trouble catches up with her.

And that’s when she throws caution to the wind and confides in Forrest. She just hopes that her predicament doesn’t dull the spark between them.

Forrest & Daisy

4.5 Stars

Daisy had the means to have everything but life was not so kind to her. After a good deed turns out to be trouble she goes away to find herself again, eventually finding all she’s been looking for all along: Forrest, someone that sees her for who she is, that understands her and is kind and gentle. Bonus points to Forrest for being so good looking and all the found family he brought with him into Daisy’s life.

Most of the book is about Forrest and Daisy falling in love but Daisy is so mysterious that I was always eager and waiting for something to happen. And when it did I was not expecting the twist.

Ava Erickson and Connor Crais were delightfully good as the protective and sweet Forrest and the adventurous and lonely Daisy.

Great book

Once again Ms Evans does it again. Each book in this fascinating and intriguing series is so different. I like all the couples for many different reasons and I adore Forest and Daisy. They’re so different from each other but they work! I loved the setting for the start of this book. It was fresh and new. A slow burn but fun ride to watch them come together. As always secrets lurk in the background and wow what a doozy. I anticipate all new releases from this author and this one didn’t disappoint at all. Great book and series. The narration was excellent
