About this listen
WHEN YOU THINK YOU'RE SAFE,
WHEN YOU THINK YOU'RE ALL ALONE,
THAT'S WHEN HE'LL COME FOR YOU...
A silent killer stalks the city, targeting those home alone at night, playing a deadly game of cat and mouse with the victims.
As panic spreads, Detective Inspector Helen Grace leads the investigation, but is herself a hunted woman, her every step shadowed by a ruthless psychopath bent on revenge.
As she tracks the murderer, Grace begins to suspect there is a truly shocking home truth that connects these brutal crimes. But what she will find is something more twisted than she could ever suspect...
Check the windows, lock the doors—this is a twisted thriller that will prey on your darkest fears, in the way only M.J. Arlidge can.

Lots of twists
I really like this series although the sloppy research does grate at times. The way some areas in Southampton are described is way off and a bit of basic research would have shown that the largest cargo ships in the world only have a crew of 25. Also a phone signal would be available for quite some time, certainly all the way down the Solent.

Brilliant
Another fantastic Helen Grace instalment which is superbly narrated.
When DI Grace goes after a serial killer in Southampton she couldn't prepare for the aftermath that follows. Hunted by a previous criminal and attacked several times a man she believes to be paid by Blyth, Helen nonetheless continues her hunt for the serial.killer attacking people at home.

Very enjoyable
Quite brutal but that’s the norm with this series. Entertaining listen, well narrated as usual. Still can’t stand Helen!

Good Book
I really enjoyed this book. I have been through 4 others in the series and today discovered I missed book 1! Yes it is not perfect has a few silly plot holes, but I forgive all that. Because the story moves on a pace. It has short punchy chapters and the characters are well written. The narrator is very good. All in all in my eyes worth a credit!

Good story twists and turns until the end
Fantastic Helen Grace story worried the Blythe story would get a bit stale, but exciting up until the end. Onwards and upwards to new investigations

Very similar
Storyline tired and very similar to the other books. Still listened to the end, but think Helen Graces adventures are well and truly done.
