About this listen
An inspiring new perspective on the science versus religion debate.
Can science explain everything? Many people think so. Science, and the technologies it has spawned, has delivered so much to the world: Clean water; more food; better healthcare; longer life. And we live in a time of rapid scientific progress that holds enormous promise for many of the problems we face as humankind. So much so, in fact, that many see no need or use for religion and belief systems that offer us answers to the mysteries of our universe. Science has explained it, they assume. Religion is redundant.
Oxford Maths Professor and Christian believer John Lennox offers a fresh way of thinking about science and Christianity that dispels the common misconceptions about both. He reveals that not only are they not opposed, but they can and must mix to give us a fuller understanding of the universe and the meaning of our existence.

This book has helped me to convert at 40
Thanks John Lennox. I’m starting to see the world differently now. That Jesus actually happened and that it’s not a question of leaps of faith at all

Much appreciation for a lovely and dedicated author
First of all, that which made me remain captivated to the message was the voice. Somehow it makes you feel immersed with everything that is said and wanting to understand all, doing so succesfully (this might be a beautiful effect of all the years spent as a dedicated professor). Aside from that, the message, written in a truthful, rational and so scientific manner, gives a wonderful solution to the contemporary confusing problem of having to choose between science and God. It is also an encouraging letter addressed to everyone, be them christians or not, to provide insightful information about God, being the Creator of all, and science, one of many methods of explanation for the creation.

One of the best books I've read on the topic
I'm a Christian and I really like books that help me understand and accept my faith from a rational side. I don't like my faith to be blind. In just 3 and a half -ish hours Prof Lennox manages to explain so much! At no moment did it feel too technical, personally, I found it to have a perfect measure of anecdotes, explanations and easy-to-understand language.
It's read by the author himself, who is very expressive. The only drop of criticism is the quality of the audio but I'd rather have a less than perfect recording in order to have it read well (and bonus points for it being the author).

Brilliant book
I have read quite a few books explaining the relation of science and God but this just hit different! I absolutely love J Lennox and having him read was a plus! This is an amazing book, one I wish I could give to all my atheist friends. God knows, I will try :)
