Story
George Muller stared at the beggar girl. She was no older than five and was piggybacking her little brother. Her mother had died in the cholera epidemic sweeping England. Her father had never returned from the mines. Standing in the muddy street, this little girl gave a face to Bristol's countless orphans. With scarcely enough food or money for his own family, George Muller opened his heart and home. Sustained by God's provision, the Muller house "Breakfast Club" of thirty orphans grew to five large houses that ultimately over ten thousand children would call home.

Diane Benscoter grew up in the heartland of America in a small Nebraska town with a loving family. At 17, motivated by her idealism and inspired by the lyrics of her favorite songs, she left home in search of a way to end war. She found easy answers to life's hard questions in the form of a religious cult commonly known as the Moonies. Often humorous and always heartbreaking, Benscoter's story carries the reader on a journey into the world of mental manipulation, providing compelling insight on how human vulnerabilities open the door for extremism.

There's a Sheep in My Bathtub chronicles the adventures of the Hogan family as they try to follow God's leading into one of the world's most remote and mysterious enclaves. Disarmingly honest and charmingly humorous, their tale will thrill you and bring tears to your eyes. An intensely personal memoir, this book still manages to pack a powerful dose of missionary insight and biblical principles for seeing the Church explode into life among peoples that have never even heard of Jesus.

"In this life, I have lost. I lost my husband and best friend. My children lost their father. But Stephen didn't lose his life. He found it." Early one morning, just down the street from the local mosque, gunshots shattered the silence. A young American lay in a pool of blood, murdered by al-Qaeda extremists. When God called Emily and Stephen Foreman to bring the gospel to a Muslim nation where Christianity was illegal, they knew they were being called to a life of sacrifice. "We died before we came here" was their common refrain.

Throughout his journey he has encountered a staggering number of Muslims who were first introduced to Jesus through a vision or dream so powerful that they eventually turned from their lifelong religion of Islam and embraced Christ as their Savior. Despite living in a culture where converting to Christianity can result in execution, these former Muslims have found hope, peace, and inspiration that comes from knowing Christ.

Followers of Christ need to relearn what it means to stand courageously for their faith rather than merely survive in a climate of fear. Instead of motivating believers to action, today's headlines appear to be paralyzing them. Standing in the Fire demonstrates the church triumphant through the lives of people who stood strong and didn't run away in the face of overwhelming danger. These Middle Eastern heroes of faith fear God more than terrorist groups like ISIS.

Summary
When he became God's smuggler, Brother Andrew was already familiar with risk. As a boy, the intrepid Andrew Van Der Bijl joined the Dutch Resistance against the Nazi occupation. As a young man, he fought eagerly in the Dutch East Indies—until the horror of war turned the adventure seeker to a life of alcohol and desperation.
Redeemed by God, the Dutchman became a daring messenger of hope, smuggling Scripture through closed borders and equipping persecuted Christians behind the Iron Curtain.
Today Brother Andrew and the ministry of Open Doors continue to shine the light of Christ in the world's darkest places.

“*The life of Brother Andrew*”
This is a truly inspiring story filled with history, loving god, and trusting god to make your life truly meaningful. Andrews life starts in the impression of boring, and same. But when natzis invade the small town whom he lived in his life beginning to change for the worse. After the war that lasted for years, he decides that he wants his trade to be a soldier, so there he was fighting in a war, but about half way through his war career the fighting and killing starts to impact him in more ways than one… can Andrew take back the life that he used to own? Or will god use this “useless” life and turn it for the better?……. This story tells the life of a strong Christian and his life in his own point of view…….
(Note from reader) the rest of my review has been serious but now let’s take some time, to think over this statement that andrews sister said to him… “Andrew… I know you’ve been through a lot.. but it’s hard not to be concerned about the time that you’ve been spending in your bedroom, it’s not healthy!” Now doesn’t that sound familiar… I SPEND AS MUCH TIME MAYBE EVEN MORE RESTING IN MY BED ON ELECTRONICS WHILE HES IN HIS ROOM READING HIS BIBLE!!!!! WHO WOULD YOU BE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT? HUH!?! HUH!?!
Love, yours truly: Me”
P.S (I recommend this book to everyone. If you haven’t already, please ask Jesus for forgiveness.. ask him into your heart, at LEAST read a bible, then you can decide if you want to believe in him or not… thank you.)
