Fighting their attraction
This is the third in a great series by Kat Kinney and a lovely dark wolf shifter romance. It's full of action, drama, trauma, shifters, vampires, passion, love and steam, with a HEA; West and Topher are so good for each other.
West Caldwell accidently bound himself to Topher Greer when he saved him from the vampires. West has been hiding his magic for years, being a strong Omega, and worries that he can't mate with anyone as he'll never know if they would chose him willingly; but he can't help wanting to be with Topher for more than just sharing books and looking after this Guinea pigs, Dean & Castiel (he's a fan of Supernatural and dragons and I loved all the references and teasing he gets from his brothers).
Being a fairly newly turned werewolf, Topher is desperate to find his brother who hasn't been seen since he was rescued from the vampires. As their search develops they find out more about what is going on with the vampires and enslaved werewolves, uncovering new dangers for the Blood Moon pack and the supernatural community.
I really enjoyed this audiobook, with Lamont Ridgell bringing the characters to life.

very good
Really good new to me narrator with great technique and a very enjoyable voice.
Story - 4.25 stars. I listened to this as a standalone (the first parts were mf), and as promised, this worked well. The world building was very clear and really interesting. The MCs were believably afraid and uncertain, and the storyline included a few cases of altered memories, which made everything even more confusing. I could understand why West would close himself off so much with his complicated magic. There were still plot lines waiting for a final solution but no awful cliffhanger.
