About this listen
How can I say no to the Morrigan?
I am trying to be a better person. So when my friend, the Celtic Goddess of Death, asks me for help, I'm hesitant.
When we get together, death and mayhem always follow.
I agree reluctantly, and we start unraveling the mystery. To solve this case, we will have to travel to a murderous netherworld and rescue a talking dagger from the Goblin Queen.
And that's just the start of our wild adventures. The Morrigan will have to ride a mechanical bull to get a valuable clue too.
Start a new urban fantasy series that features interesting characters like a talking dagger, a courageous dragonfly, a blue-eyed werewolf, and a legendary wizard in a different light. This series is perfect for fans of Shayne Silvers, Linsey Hall, and McKenzie Hunter.

Who is producing deathcards??
Death cards are being produced illegally, Juniper is drawn into the search for the culprit's, while also trying to resolve the vampire werewolf situation.
Well narrated by Liz Brand, she keeps the story moving nicely.

Not bad
This was a pretty good book. Even though this was the second book of a series I quickly got the gist of what was happening. This storyline is so inventive I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Black Birds
An action-packed Urban Fantasy, and I love this series. J. P. Rice has taken the familiar setting of Pittsburgh and filled it with Gods, vampires, werewolves, magic and any number of well-defined magical creatures.

Let this audio fly
This is book 2 in the series . It continues where book 1 left off Juniper gets together with the Celtic goddess that she feels a kingship with . Juniper wants to be recognized as a Celtic Demi-Goddess also. Again the story takes place in Pittsburgh. What is great that you see some Norse gods mixing in with the modern world. There are vampires and werewolves also .
Juniper mission is to go to the neither world and find a powerful dagger . She needs help do she takes her sister along , the Celtic goddess of Death . It seems Juniper is in the middle of lots of Dentites issues . How does she handle them .
Liz voice is smooth and clear . She’s getting stronger as the story continues

Really enjoyed this second book in this series
What's really great about the second book in a series is feeling right at home and comfortable with the narrator straight away. It's like putting on your comfy clothes and settling in with a hot chocolate. Liz Brand does a great job again, though I'm not sure about her Scottish accent...
I really enjoyed this story, much more than the first book. I'm not sure whether it's because I know the characters better or whether I just enjoyed the adventure more. The new characters are great and I liked the ongoing overall plot. I looke forward to the next book.

Black Birds
I liked this better than the first book! It was straight forward,on a quest to find the person dealing the death cards.Besides the Morrigan and Tatiana,June picks up another to add to her little pack. Liz Brand was a fine narrator.
I was given this book by the narrator, author or publisher free for an honest review.
